The NAS Annual Statistics 2025: More victims than previous year, forced labour most common form
In 2025, 467 referrals were entered into the National Assistance System for Victims of Human Trafficking (NAS) and 271 of them were admitted as clients. 61% of them were female.

Forced labour was the most common form of exploitation (45%), and forced marriage was the second (29%). Of all new clients, 19% were victims of sexual exploitation.
In 2025, a total of 141 cases of exploitation came to light in Finland. In Finland, the majority (68%) had fallen victim to forced labour. The sectors included forestry and wood harvesting, agriculture and horticulture, restaurant & catering and construction. 17 people 811%) were victims of sexual exploitation, and equally 17 of forced marriage. The majority of victims exploited in Finland were male (61%).
On 31 December 2025, the NAS had 1,634 clients, of whom 1,424 were identified victims and 210 were their underaged children. There were 10 children among the victims.
